I’m not sure if it’s just my WP settings but your hack still does not allow me to save hidden states of meta boxes through the Screen Options.

The extension works for some versions of Chrome and not others. The main problem is with g-mail being really funky. They don’t assign #id’s to their DOM elements and so it’s quite difficult to keep this extension working as they continually make little changes to g-mail. I don’t have time to update the extension right now but will do so soon.
